Whether it's betting or gaming is a matter for regulators, Robinhood's general counsel, and the barflies. But it has certainly become big business and is growing at a monster rate. People may even be putting money on how just big that rate is. Still, Robinhood stock fell Thursday as the quarter's expenses, crypto revenue, and analyst commentary that others could merely copy Robinhood's playbook weighed on investors' minds.
